I'm a full time college student double majoring in Communication Arts and Graphic Design at Malone University. I'll be graduating in the spring. I also work part time at W.A.G.S. 4 Kids. I have an incredible passion for animals, especially dogs! I have multiple years of experience caring for dogs (and cats), both my own and others. I got my first puppy when I was 12. She was a 4 month old Sheltie, and she just recently turned 9. I volunteered at a shelter from the ages of 13 to 15, helping take care of the animals. When I was 16 I rescued a Shepherd/Lab mix from my local humane society and trained her to be a therapy dog. We were a registered team for 5 years until she passed away last year. I started pet sitting at the age of 16. I have experience caring for sick dogs and cats, including oral administration of medications and application of ointments to eyes and other areas animals tend to be pesky about. I also have experience dog sitting a deaf dog. My schedule varies during the school year, but after the semester is over I will have a pretty flexible schedule. I am available at most times and often on short notice. I love getting know dogs and learning about their individual personalities and quirks! I give lots of attention to each dog and I always make sure their individual needs and preferences are attended to. I'm also active and have plenty of energy to play and give exercise. Your dog(s) will get great individualized care!
