Hello and welcome to Carolyn's K9 Retreat! My name is Carolyn, and my husband Bryson and I are the proud owners of the top-rated doggy daycare in the South Puget Sound. We have a deep love and passion for dogs, and our journey to starting The Retreat is quite unique. After spending a year on the road visiting national parks, Bryson and I fell in love with Washington and the Olympic Peninsula. We knew we wanted to make this beautiful state our home, so we settled into Olympia. At that time, we were living in a travel trailer in Bryson's mom's backyard. After seeing an ad on social media for Rover, I downloaded the app and little did we know our journey to Carolyn’s K9 Retreat had begun! It wasn't long before we realized that there was a need for quality dog care in our area, and that's when we decided to go all in on becoming your #1 doggy daycare and boarding resort. Today, we own 3 acres of land in the woods and have built a beautiful, cage and kennel-free, private dog retreat for our furry guests. We offer a range of services to meet your pet's needs, including daycare, overnight boarding, grooming, and training classes. We have a certified dog trainer with over a decade of experience on staff who leads our training services, which are designed to help your pup learn new skills and behaviors in a positive and safe environment. All of our team members are trained in safe dog handling practices and have a deep understanding of dog behavior. When you arrive at Carolyn's K9 Retreat, you will be greeted by our friendly staff and shown around our facilities. We have separate play areas for different sized dogs, comfortable resting areas, and plenty of outdoor space for exercise and play. Our team of nine experienced and dedicated staff members are all passionate about providing the best care possible for your furry family member. We understand how important your pet is to you, and we take their care and well-being seriously. That's why we carry comprehensive insurance coverage on our business and have implemented strict safety protocols to ensure their safety.
