Experienced Professional Cargiver

Pet care experience

Hello! I have experience working full time at an animal rescue and have been petsitting and caring for a large variety of animals for the last 12 years. For six months I lived in a home that fosters dogs as well as having 4 resident dogs. I have two dogs of my own and am currently home full time and fully available for dog boarding and daycare. My availability is slightly limited on Wednesday and Thursday but I’m otherwise available. I have experience working with a variety of breeds from Saint Bernards and Great Danes to Chihuahuas. I have also worked with dogs that are reactive to other dogs or certain people. I am confident working with breeds like Rottweilers and Pitbulls. I have experience boarding dogs that have dog aggression and require individualized attention and a safe private area.

Our dog Freya had a great time. Would recommend Carolyn and will book them again for our next vacation.

This was our first time having Carolyn take care of our dog. She came home happy and tired. This weekend she will be watching both of our dogs!

Carolyn took great care of Toby. He was a very happy boy. She was also very understanding and accommodating about delays. Terrific sitter all around. I will definitely trust her again.

Carolyn is a great sitter! She took great care of Rosie and kept me updated while Rosie was at her home. Carolyn was flexible and easy to work with. We look forward to Rosie returning to Carolyn’s in the future.

Information Carolyn W. would like to know about your pet

Before caring for a dog I like to know what things the dog doesn't like. It's important to me to be avoid doing things that will upset the pet or make them uncomfortable. I also like to know what their regular routine and activities are because they love consistency and my goal is to help stick to what is comfortable. I need to know about their health and vet care they’ve received in the last year.

A typical day

We usually do potty and breakfast around 6:30am and walks around 9am. We have potty break/play in the yard at noon and again at 3pm. Potty break and dinner at 6pm. Dogs who need two walks will walk at either 4pm or 8pm depending on the day. We can do filled kongs, lick mats, or Kong wobble at owners request!
