I have been working as a Veterinary Technician for 6 years. I have a 7yr old Lab. Ideally I would like to watch animals that would get along with mine but this is not necessary for home visits. I would treat your pet like my own! I enjoy walking in the woods and going to dog parks. I love animals big and small. My background will allow me to provide a high standard of care professionally and take appropriate action in case your animal needs medical care. I am also able to trim nails and clean ears for animals that do not need additional handling for these services. I do well with all breeds and dispositions (nervous, shy, or difficult). We highly recommend Carolyn as a wonderful pet sitter! We are notoriously picky when it comes to trusting people with our animals and Carolyn is one (of only two) we have invited back. It brings us great peace of mind knowing our pets are in the capable hands for a vet tech and animal lover. We have three big dogs ranging from 4 to 14 years old and two 14 year old cats. All the animals instantly took to Carolyn and were comfortable with her. She is so thoughtful and accommodating while caring for our elderly pup who requires medications and some assistance. The bonuses are getting photos while away and coming home to a perfectly tide house and freshly brushed pups. We're grateful to have found a dependable, loving, attentive and convenient pet sitter to watch our pets while we're away. We can't sing Carolyn's praises enough!
Carolyn is fantastic with dogs! She is one of only a very few people I would trust to care for my aging lab who needs special care and attention. She is extremely knowledgeable and caring. Even with nervous or anxious dogs she is great and knows just how to handle them, making them comfortable and at-ease.
