I have been working as a pet walker, sitter, and boarder for the last several years while I was in school through Wag and a few other local services! Now that I am back in the Phoenix area and have more room, I’m looking forward to expanding my work with Rover! I grew up with dogs and can’t wait to have my own, but for now am loving spending my time as a pet “aunt” to your wonderful fur babies! I have experience administering medications (pills and injections) - one of my own dogs was epileptic. I have cared for very small chihuahuas, pugs, and various miniature breeds. I also love caring for and have experience with larger, stronger breeds like German Shepherds, pit bulls, and bulldogs. I, myself, grew up with medium-sized dogs like Australian Shepherds and Wheaton Terriers. I love them all! I also lived with and cared for cats (and rabbits!) while I was away at school. I live in a townhouse with both a small fenced-in yard and fenced-in patio and am right next to a large, grassy park for longer walks. In the home, it is just myself and one other adult - no children. Pets are allowed on the furniture (as long as that’s alright with you, their parents!) and we have a kennel that can be used if your dog is crate-trained and does well in them. I do the vast majority of my work from home and would be home with your pets nearly the entire day. For caring for your pets in your home, I am happy to spend as much time as you are comfortable with them in your home! Some clients have requested just a drop-in visit for some playtime, snuggles, and potty breaks every few hours. For other clients, they prefer to have me stay overnight at their home and be there basically full time while they are away. I’m happy to discuss either option with you and figure out what will work best for your family! I can’t wait to meet you and spend some time with your fur babies!
