Pet care experience
A pet caregiver for over 17 years. I personally own a 4 year old Australian Shepherd mix, named Koda and a deceased cat, named Tabby for 20 years. Also I have taken care of a variety of pet species such as: dogs, cats, geckos, and ferrets. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to care for their pets like they are my own. Dog and cat owners will be assured that their beloved four legged family member will be taken care of by someone with a Veterinary Assistant certificate from the College of DuPage. I have taken care of many dogs in my years which included: walking them at least twice a day and feeding the dog twice a day. I have played many games with dogs which included: fetch, tug a war, and chase. I am a very active and patient person. I am adaptable and do well with pets that have different energy levels and personalities. Unlike most dog walkers, I like to include variety. Not one walk will be the same with me. Your dog will have a new positive experience with me each and every time.

Carolyn and our pets got along great. She is very good . We received pictures and updates. When we got home the dogs were not even excited to see us. Just walked up to us like "oh its you" Hohum. it's a relief to now have someone to watch the crew when we want to go out. Shiba's can be so picky.
Carolyn is a very caring person and has a tremendous love for animals and all life. I would not trust anyone else to care for my pets as long as she is available! I know that when I invite her into my home to care for my pets that both my pets as well as my home are in excellent hands. She cares for more than just the physical needs of my pets but also cares for their emotional needs as well ensuring that they are getting in playtime and love. She goes above and beyond when caring for my pets and it is very much appreciated that I have found someone who will love them as I do.
I've known Carrie for years and have had the joy of playing with Koda, her Australian Shephard mix, since he was a pup. She's put in the effort to train Koda, socialize him with people and dogs, and keep him healthy with regular walks and a veterinarian-recommended diet. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter and know that she will bring her dog-raising experience and love to every fur baby she sees.
Carolyn is very conscientious and loving--I could not leave my beloved dog in better hands. Carolyn is training to become a vet tech and has skill and experience working with a range of pets. She understands the psychology of animals and is deeply empathetic. I highly recommend her and will be using her services again in the future.

I work part-time Monday-Thursday. I am currently available for dog walking, check-ins, and house sitting at the client's home starting on Thursdays after 5 p.m. Friday- Sunday I am available all day for dog walks, check-ins, and house sitting at the client's home.
