Pet care experience
My family and I are active, lifelong dog owners and lovers, and will provide a perfect home away from home for your precious pup! I have over 30 years of experience caring for dogs throughout all stages of their lives and have administered oral, topical, and injectable medications. We love hiking and exploring local trails and nature preserves, and visiting dog parks like Davis Field (where friendly dogs are always waiting to make new buddies, and a great time is had by all😅!) We also enjoy taking frequent daily walks around our low traffic, dog friendly neighborhood. But if your dog is elderly, has limited mobility, or is laid back and prefers chilling at home, we'll be totally delighted to relax and snuggle in together! We have a sprawling back yard with a large securely fenced in area for pups to play, run, and do their business! We recently rescued a precious 17 pound Yorkie/Silky mix, Buddy! He is about 6 years old, and is a mellow, sweetie who loves the company of other friendly dogs! We also have a good natured middle aged cat, Kitty Brady. K.B. is happy to share his home with dogs that don't chase or harass him excessively! Due to Covid-19, my husband and my 21 year old son are working/taking classes from home, so at this time, we can only host dogs that are dog and cat friendly or neutral, and don't bark constantly! If your dog is not too vocal and mostly mellow, we would be delighted to have his/her company! I am home all day, and will be delighted to lavish your pup with attention, walks, belly rubs, snuggles and TLC! Rest assured knowing my family and I will treat your wonderful pup like a VIP (Very Important, Precious) member of our family! Carolyn took care of our dog and cat for an overnight trip. She is very personable and responsible. She clearly loves animals. We really appreciated the pictures she sent so we knew they were well. She made the extra effort to find our cat who always hides from pet sitters.
Carolyn has obvious care for our kitty. She’s communicative and responsive. Willing to help out where needed. And he loves hanging out with her. The pics make it clear!
Mishka stayed again with Carolyn and her family during our spring vacation. He was welcomed warmly, given lots of love, walks and met many new dog buddies at the park. Carolyn cared deeply and patiently after Mishka and when he had GI problems she took him to the vet and ensured that he is receiving proper treatment. She kept us apprised, sending daily pictures and summaries. Thank you for being such a great and loving host for our little guy!
Carolyn was an amazing host and always kept us updated. She made sure Mishka is getting a lot of walks and socialization!

I prefer to schedule a (socially distanced) Meet & Greet with pups and their families before booking a first stay. This provides an opportunity to get to know each other, make sure your pup feels at home here, and is a good fit with us. The Meet & Greet also gives us an opportunity to discuss your precious pup's favorites, schedule, diet, possibly anxieties, etc. After Meet and Greets, pups almost always come back happily for their stay❣️
A typical day
I always jump thru hoops to ensure visiting pups feel at home and have a great time while visitsing! We always head out several times a day for neighborhood walks, hikes or dog parks to get exercise and play - and would welcome and treasure your pup's company❣️
