Pet care experience
I have had dogs my whole life and lived with my parents cat for about 2 years. I love pets of all shapes and sizes and have experience taking care of all different breeds. I have about 4 years of experience volunteering to walk dogs and take care of cats at my local animal shelter and have taken care of both cats and dogs for my neighbors. I absolutely love animals and am used to taking care of their needs- even the parts that aren’t so fun. I have no issue dealing with cleaning pee, poop, or vomit, and have lots of experience with elderly and anxious pets.

Carolyn has taken great care of all our pets for several years. She is concerned about their physical well being and watches for any unusual behavior. On one occasion she identified a problem that was ultimately resolved only by a vet visit. It could have been worse if she had not been so observant. She is skilled at dealing with shy or scared cats and walking boisterous dogs. Carolyn is reliable and conscientious. A friend employed her as a live in cat sitter for an extended time while they were on a cruise and was very pleased with her services. She is willing to go the extra mile to make a pet happy. I highly recommend!

For dogs, I need to know how big/strong they are so that we can assess if I’m a good fit for walking your pet. Also, if your pet has any special needs such as dietary issues, anxiety, or aggression for any reason, I would like to know before hand.
A typical day
I love long walks and know quite a few spots around town that are great for dogs. For cats and dogs both I love to play with toys and spend time petting them. Whatever activities they prefer, I make sure they get the attention they deserve!
