I work remotely and do not currently have a dog of my own. I love dogs and enjoy their companionship. For this reason, I am interested in having just one dog at a time, unless they are accustomed to living together, in which case I am happy to care for more than one. I want your pet to have my singular companionship as we go about our day. He or she becomes my constant companion as well. What I am trying to create is an experience for the dog to relax and enjoy. I don't mix dogs unknown to each other. I want the opposite of a kennel environment, which I think stresses most dogs out. While the master is off on adventure, there is no reason why the dog can't be having fun as well. We take walks, play fetch, etc. We adapt to one another's routines. I love young active dogs, and I am especially good with older dogs. They have different needs, but my schedule and work allows me to adapt. I've had several pets over the years, both dogs and cats. I am a very active person and work out several times per week, so I do leave the house for a few hours every day to go to the gym, but other than that, I work in the home. With the dogs, I take walks in the woods in surrounding areas in all weather. I go out several times per day to break up my own work routine. I talk to the animals in my company. I take time out to pet them and and talk to them. I do appreciate their company and respect their routines, as stated above. Dogs and other animals have always naturally gravitated toward me. I am calm by nature, and also smart, well educated, and organized. I am a careful person, quite conscientious. I love dogs.
