Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Carolyn! Nice to meet you! Here’s a little bit about me and my dog related endeavors. I am the very proud momma of Maverick, a super sweet, super friendly 5 year old Australian cattle dog mix. Maverick is dog and cat friendly, and absolutely loves to play with other pups. Maverick and I go to the dog park twice a day as well as take walks, and we’d love to have your furry friend join us! Back home, I have an 11 year old cockapoo named Fozzie, who I have been taking care of since the first day we got her. Additionally, over quarantine, my parents decided to get a second dog, yogi bear, and while isolating out of NYC, I began the process of training her to be a therapy dog! I have had lots of experience pet sitting and dog walking for neighbors and friends. Additionally, I worked as an animal/kennel technician at the NY humane society which has taught me many valuable skills such as animal CPR, medication administration and balanced training! If my dogs could talk I think they’d tell me I give the best belly rubs, but I’ll let your fur baby be the judge of that. Your piece of mind during this time is of upmost importance to me. Carolyn was absolutely amazing! My dog Mookie came home each day happy and tired from his fun filled time with Carolyn! Each morning he was so excited to see her and spend the day with her. Carolyn kept me updated with pictures and went above and beyond to make sure I knew Mookie was in the best possible hands! I would recommend her to everyone I know! I can't wait to book another visit with Carolyn!
Carolyn was a great dogsitter for our dog, Moose. She kept us updated with lots of pictures. He was very happy in all of them and was well cared for during our time away. She even gave him a bath when he had an extra dirty day at the park. We will definitely be bringing Moose back whenever we take our next trip!
Roosevelt had a wonderful stay with Carolyn. She provided daily photos and updates and our corgi came home healthy and happy. Would definitely book again!
Carolyn was absolutely wonderful, she treated our dog Walter like he was her own for the 4 days we were out of town recently. She kept us up to date on him and sent pictures of all the fun they were having. She was so easy to coordinate with and we will absolutely be reaching out to Carolyn to watch Walter again the next time we leave. Highly recommend her!!!!

My style of pet sitting is treating your pet as if they were my own. Going the extra mile to ensure your pets comfort is a guarantee. Together, we will play in and out of the apartment, go on walks, snuggle on the couch and have enrichment filled opportunities, whether it be in the form of a Kong, a lick mat, or a puzzle toy! In my home, pets are allowed to free roam, as well as being able to be on the furniture or sleep in my bed if desired.

A typical day
My dog sitting style is treating your pup as if they were my own! Rather than just “watching” them, I will give them constant love and attention through trips to the dog park, cuddles on the couch and more! On that note, I live right next to Washington square park which is home to two amazing dog parks, as well as close in proximity to many other parks such as the Hudson River park and union square. I have an ever growing collection of toys and balls that me and your pup can enjoy, and a very comfy couch that we can hang out on together after a very fun filled day.

Availability
I’m currently finishing up my degree and working a part time position, but my longest period of time away from maverick is 4 hours maximum. Maverick and I start the day with a quick walk to the Washington square park dog run, where we stay for at least an hour each morning. We typically return to the park after dinner to get a final run in, or get another walk in at the very least.
