I've had dogs my whole life! In my family, we love our dogs like siblings and babies, but we also know that they are different animals who understand and respond to things differently than we do. Back home I have a German shepherd and a sheltie which I love to take for hikes and walks. They both have particular food and supplements, so I can be very diligent with dietary needs. I've taken care of animals that need medication as well. My German shepherd has high levels of stress and energy in most situations, so I am very used to giving her both the discipline and affection she needs to remain comfortable. I love everything about dogs, and have incredible patience and enthusiasm especially for energetic or anxious dogs. I have helped raise and train two dogs, so I am more than willing to support your training program or offer advice if you ask for it! I really appreciate thorough instructions, because I want your dog’s experience to be relaxed and as close to their normal routine as possible. I typically let pets take the lead as far as how playful/cuddly they want to be with me.
