I currently live in Washington, DC in Woodley Park with two cats. I did Rover back in 2017/2018 and took a break to focus on other things, but am back. I have extensive experience with dogs and cats and am good with animals of all temperaments and ages. I'm quite active and very familiar with the trails/paths near me, so happy to take your pup on long or short walks. Currently, only doing drop-ins and walks due to a busier schedule, but can discuss overnight as we get to know each other more. I require to do an in-person meet & greet before accepting new clients just to ensure good rapport.

Loki is a real jerk of a dog and he seems to love Caroline! She's really good and patient with him and we're really appreciative that she's able to handle him.
Caroline was great with our dog Peaches! She watched Peaches over 4th of July week, which can be filled with anxiety for most dogs due to the fireworks, but Caroline assured us that Peaches got through it with little anxiety. She shared daily photos with us which brightens up my day when I'm out of town. We will definitely be booking Caroline again!
Caroline was awesome! We felt very comfortable having Caroline stay in our home and she took excellent care of our dogs. Caroline is super responsive and kept us informed daily on how things were going. We will definitely hire Caroline as a dog sitter again.
Caroline dealt with a vet emergency very professionally and went above and beyond to make sure our dog got proper care. She adjusted to the unexpected health scare very quickly and put us at ease. She was also able to reliably administer numerous medications. When we returned, our dog was relaxed and our apartment was spotless!

However, at your home, I will make sure we meet in person beforehand to learn how you work with your pet. I know how anxious I get about someone accidentally letting my cats out, so will triple-check your pets are secure before leaving for the visit.

I want to know their personality and medical needs and vet information. I don't have breed preferences, would like to know if they're shy, aggressive, any anxiety they have (are thunderstorms a problem?) do they eat well, anything they love, are you specific about their meals. Things like that.
A typical day
I know good trails around, I'm happy to play with your pup or cat. Depending on your comfort level, can take your dog to dog parks or just on walks to run out the energy.

I'm available on weekends and am an early riser so will be sure to check-in on your pets first thing in the morning. During the week, I work full-time, but am remote and can work with you to make sure you feel your pets are getting the proper care.
