Hey there! I nannied, house-sat, cat-sat, and dog-sat in my early 20's and at 32 I'm looking to get back into it for some extra income (hello inflation!). I am a fully remote Senior Writer in marketing who is equal parts homebody and travel bug. When I'm not traveling, I'm doing everything with my dog Jack, who I've had for ten years (since he was five months old). I have tons of experience with puppies, older dogs, shy dogs, foster dogs (I fostered six at different times throughout the pandemic!), etc. I'm comfortable administering medicine with clear directions! I also rode horses competitively and was a horse wrangler, so I'm comfortable using gentle yet effective guidance with animals of all sizes. I only use positive reinforcement and love practicing tricks with (owner-approved) treats. I love training and engaging animals' brains and curiosity, it's so fun to watch them learn and gain their trust. My dog comes with me and is used to dog-sitting and fostering little and big dogs alike. He is nervous around cats, but can be around them as long as they don't chase him :)
