Pet care experience
👋🏻 we’re Caroline & Forrest, Wake Forest University graduates and a responsible, animal loving married couple. We’ve grown up caring for our our family animals and now have a dog and cat of our own! We’re known by our friends as “animal whisperers” and are their number one choice for dog sitting when they go out of town because of how above and beyond we go for dogs and cats alike. We’ve even had one friend drive from 2+ hrs away just because she didn’t trust anyone else with her new puppy. Our friends often say that we care for their animals better than they ever could. Needless to say, we love dogs & cats and we pride ourselves with the quality of care we provide them; They are our world!
Reviews
Caroline is awesome! Took such good care of my little Rosie over a long weekend. Provided regular updates and pictures which put me at ease since it was her first time away from home. I knew she was in good hands.
Caroline and Forrest kept our seven month old Bernedoodle puppy for two weeks while we were out of town. They kept us constantly updated with pictures and were available whenever we needed to check in. Our pup enjoyed all the attention and love he was given in their home. He had lots of playtime with their sweet dog, long walks and cuddles. We felt at ease during our entire vacation not having to worry about anything! We will definitely use them again for our next trip.
They were so amazing keeping Ripley for the weekend!! I loved all of the pictures and updates, and never doubted for a second that he was being well loved and cared for as if he were their own. Thank y’all again!!!
Caroline and Forrest were so great! Quick to respond and super accommodating! Will 100% use them again!

Information Caroline & Forrest W. would like to know about your pet
We need to know the following before accepting your booking request: • Does your pup get along with other pups and cats? •Has your dog ever shown aggression of any form towards another dog or human? • Has your pup been away from home before? • Does your pet have any anxiety? If so, how do you help soothe them at home? • Does your pup normally stay in a crate at home? If not, where do they like to sleep? • What amount of training does your pup have (both potty and commands they know)? We’d be happy to work on some training while your pup is in our care. •How long can your dog be left unattended? Has your dog ever ruined a piece or furniture or destroyed anything in your home while you’ve been gone? •Anything that will make your pet’s stay comfortable, special and fun for them! Do they enjoy Kong toys filled with peanut butter at night time? We’re on it! Please bring your animal’s preferred food bowl. Please do not bring toys—trust me, we have PLENTY! Our boarding drop off and pick up times are very flexible, however, drop off prior to 7:00 AM and pick up 8:00 PM or later are subject to an additional $5 fee per early drop off/late pick up.
A typical day
Our days start out with snuggles in the morning, followed by breakfast, pottying and nap time. Nap time is immediately followed by a 2+ mile long walk and lots of playtime. Week day afternoons include runs or another long walk, playtime and lots and lots of cuddles. Weekend days revolve around the pets we watch and often involve outings to the dog park, a hike or a long nature walk, and/or a trip to a dog friendly restaurant and brewery.

Our life revolves around our pup; He’s our baby! Although I work full time at a hospital, Forrest works from home, so he provides frequent potty breaks throughout the day, at least one 2+ mile walk and lots and lots of playtime and cuddles! Once I get home, our evenings are spent either taking our pup on a run or another long walk and playtime and LOTS of snuggles! We put our dog’s needs, as well as any dog or cat in our care before our own.
