Pet care experience
Hi there! Thanks for visiting my page. I can provide care in your home or my home - whichever works best for you! I think you will find me to be a rather accommodating host. I live on fenced 1/4 acre in Inner SE Portland. I am open to varying pup schedules. My two dogs currently eat in the mornings between 7-8 and in the evening between 7-8 and head to bed by 10:30. We can always adjust though, as I am a full-time student taking online classes. I can quickly communicate via phone, text, or email, and am happy to provide updates of your pups throughout their stay. Living in my house are myself, Caroline, my partner Louis, and our two long term friends and roommates Jake and Sean. We also have two pups, Oscar and Watson, and a cat names Doyle. Sometimes our pup-friend Leia stays over too, but only with your permission of course. Because I have two dogs, I would like to do a meet-and-greet before first time visits- but mine are doggy daycare and dog park pups with lots of sociability. Out cat is 100% used to dogs as he has always lived with a dog. He will usually puff up then run away and hide during the first 24 hours of any stay.

Caroline is fantastic with dogs! Her own two dogs are very well behaved, and she's good with both small and large breeds. She's my first choice for dog sitting whenever needed, and I feel good leaving pets in her capable hands.
My boyfriend and I are new (and nervous!) pet owners, which sounds silly to type but is honest. We adopted an overweight, senior kitty and we take a lot of pride in taking good good care of her. The first time we left town, Caroline was our number one choice to watch our kitty. Responsible, trustworthy, friendly, Caroline was everything we were looking for. I am completely comfortable giving her access to my home and I know that she will feed and care for our cat according to our specifications. No cutting corners, no missed feeds. I highly recommend Caroline for any of your pet care needs!

I would love to know a little about your dogs past social interactions. Have there been any bad experiences? Do they have a certain behavior I should look out for when playing? Are there any food allergies I should be aware of? What is their daily routine? I have 0 breed preferences, but will let doberman owners know that Oscar can be a bit weird upon first meeting. He was attacked within the last 6 months by a big doberman so we are working on that socializing - he just gets scared.
A typical day
We like to go on walks around the neighborhood and throw balls in the big back yard. If you are okay with it, on weekends we could take your pooch adventuring on a hike or to 1000 acres dog park.
