While the meet and greet went well I was disappointed with the care of my dog while in my home back in August. My expectation was to have someone take care of my dog, I did not expect him to be left alone as much as he was or exposed to what appeared to be an ever changing and hectic schedule the sitter had. The schedule agreed upon obviously changed. I asked only for 3 quick updates a day and most times got none, until I inquired or called on my own. My neighbors told me they mainly saw my dog in the window waiting for someone to come home. Most times did not see a car in the driveway throughout the day/night. I know dogs can miss their owners but the sitter clearly had other work priorities that came up which impacted the care of my dog as agreed upon. If you are called into your other work unexpectedly which I get , you need to weigh that impact out with your first commitment. Upon my arrival home I found red dirt on my carpets, my new front door was scratched up which appeared to have been touched up with some varnish which ruined my door. My dog who never pooped in my house pooped upstairs in my bonus room. I suspect this behavior was acquired because he was left for long periods of time, off of or not on any type of schedule. I did have discussions with the sitter during and after the stay who appeared to have answers for everything but the results of the stay and care speaks for itself. Glad others had better luck.

Looks like my dog Cooper has made a new friend! I could tell at the meet and greet that Caroline has a love for animals and Cooper really liked her. She was on time for the meet and greet and sent pictures/updates on recent stay. I am leaving out for one week and feel confident Caroline will take good care of my dog and my home. Thanks Caroline ?
