Pet care experience

Update: OPEN AVAILABILITY FOR VALENTINES DAY & PRESIDENTS DAY! 🤗 First come, first serve. I am now available 24/7, 7 days a week for all dog sittings and in home, or at my house, or doggy daycare. I hope to meet you pups soon! I took a little vacation as a volunteer at VCA Animal Hospital, but am back on Rover full time! As a mother to two amazing dogs, 1, one year old Great Pyrenees, and one 6 year old German Shepherd, I have amazing experience not only taking care of dogs, but training, grooming, and providing them with a happy, yet obedient lifestyle, and an amazing time. DOG BOARDING - IN MY HOME AMENITIES: - If you go through my photos, I have added photos of my large backyard property, and our garage, that we turned into our doggy daycare oasis. We also have a large inflatable pool that the dogs just can't get enough of! The pool is 100% the highlight of a lot of our clients doggies days this summer. *Look through our photo album for pool photos* I have also added photos of my own home, a two bedroom, two bathroom home in Beverly Hills. full of doggy beds, toys, and all furniture lined in wool blanketing to dog proof. Its a dogs world, we are just living in it! :) As you can also see off of the study room, there is a doggy door. The doggy door leads to a gated side part of the house where the dogs can go to use the restroom if they so need to at night time. I just wanted you, our potential client, to see where you pup would comfortably be spending the night. We have 10 beds, all different sizes and wash and sanitize each bed after each use. (That is if you don't bring your dogs own bed, which we highly recommend, because it helps them feel more at home, and we always set the bed up in the bedroom so that they can sleep with us at night.) DOGY DAYCARE- PLEASE Check out the photos on my page of where we like to keep our doggy day care and our amenities. We have turned our garage into a daycare hangout, treat central, toy central, and relaxation central, including cooling pad beds! Our yard is extremely large, and I bought toys in bulk from amazon to keep all of our visitors happy. Let me know if your dog likes or doesn't like water, as we use a large inflatable pool for the dogs for the summer heat, and of course, we would bathe them after... no worries! (We also clean out each dogs ears that we are sitting if they get in the pool, with solution and a towel, just to ensure no ear infections from the water fun!) So please make sure to check out my photo album for those photos. COVID 19...Although that flipped my world upside down, I view this as an opportunity, to be able to work in another passion of mine, and which I have much background in, which is animal care. I was a Manager to a very fast paced, and large clothing store, which offered many services, and was manager to a team of 30 employees. I hope that can give you a glance into the fact that I am a very responsible person when it comes to my work, and any duties that come my way, as well as some insight: I am very empathetic, as you have to get to know your employees. I have 9 years of experience in dog walking, and training, having taken 3 training courses by the Petsmart training program, and am now studying grooming, and am supplied with almost every grooming tool a dog should need. I am a triple threat and will make sure your baby has the time of their life and is also safe and secure. I like to give each dog what feels like a mini vacation! It does say on my profile that in my home I do allow dogs on the bed and furniture, but as I mentioned above, with my training experience, I want to keep up the progress you have been making with your pet, if you are working on having them stay off furniture etc.. The only reason I let pets, who's owners let their pets on furniture on my furniture, is because I line my furniture with dog friendly breeding wool blankets (Dogs always find it very comfortable if its what they were laid in as a puppy) to keep my furniture clean, and your dog feeling at home. But, I do have multiple dog beds, and we will make sure we keep up with your training style! If your dog uses a leader leash, don't worry I've got it. ;)

Caroline did an amazing job supervising my Samoyed named Kurama. He had a great time w her dogs. Her backyard is set up to host dogs and she is truly passionate about dogs and their safety. She really loves this. Also she was very flexible with my schedule which was awesome.

Caroline has sat for our pups multiple times and they always have a blast with her and her dogs! We get many photos of our dogs having such a great time. Even when I drop the dogs off they are so excited and happy to see her and her sweet doggies!

As seen in my photos, I have a beautifully fenced in yard that I actually created and designed just for doggy daycare! My home has been designed more for dogs than for humans. As you can also see the garage’s have been turned into the doggy daycare rest center, with full ac and heat installed, insolation, and furniture cleaned and washed daily for every pup that comes in and out.

Information Caroline B. would like to know about your pet

Every doggie has a personality of their own, that's why we love them, and build such strong connections with our furry babies. It depends on the type of service you are asking for. If you are asking for a dog walker, you can either write me the day of, or day before of what kind of walks your dog prefers, their fears, what they like the avoid, and what they enjoy. What I like to do whenever I have sitters or walkers coming to service my dogs while I am away, or extremely busy, is Ieaving an instruction sheet/note. If I am in a hurry, I'll just leave a note on the counter with their leash. On that note you can just let me know if they don't do well with socializing with other dogs, if there is a certain park that your dog prefers to go to, if there is a certain path, if they enjoy walking in the sun, or if that hurts their paws, or if they enjoy shade... anything. I am here to make your life easier, not to create even more work for you! I'm here so you can enjoy your vacation, business trip, or feel at ease if you have a busy day and cannot walk your dog. I don't like to stress my clients with work on their end. So if you are on the go, just leave me a brief note. I may be a petite female 5'5, etc... but I am amazing at walking large dogs. I myself own a 160 pound Great Pyrenees and a 75 pound German Shepherd, so when it comes to walking multiple dogs, I'm your girl. I can handle ANYTHING! Trust me. For sitting, Rover is strong on doing a meet and greet a day or so before, so that you, and your fur friend can both get to know me! If I am sitting at your home, I can either meet you there a day or couple days before, or what I like to do is meet an hour or so before, and do a walkthrough, then immediately take your dog on a walk after you leave to gain their trust. It is all up to you. if you would like to do a meet and greet before our sitting days in advance, I would love to meet your baby and come prepared for some treats and toys that you could advise me that they love. Or, what I liked to do, is do a meet and greet an hour before you leave! If you want your doggies boarded at my dog sanctuary, you can do the same as well. You can come the day of, an hour before for a meet and greet, or day(s) before. It is all up to you, and what you feel comfortable with. We are a family home over here. It is just my husband and I, and we both work together as a team to take care of all animals! If you couldn't tell, we are a bit of a dog loving family!

A typical day

I have a large front yard fenced and surrounded by shrubbery, where the dogs can have hangout time with myself while I read, ect... as well as an extremely large, full grass, backyard. (I have a gardener who comes every Wednesday to maintain and mow). My entire property is locked in surrounded by hedging and fencing, so your babies have the leisure of the entire property! We have converted our garage into a doggy daycare oasis (just had AC installed in the garage, now daycare headquarters) located in the backyard with an area for their water and to get some shade, as well as natural shade from surrounding trees. It's a dog heaven, and that's how I constructed it. I also live right next to San Vicente Dog Park, if your pup loves the park! But I do know that a lot of owners are weary of their dogs around strangers dogs who may not be vaccinated for certain things etc… so let me know your preferences! I have found some nice nature paths along San Vicente, Mccarthy Circle area. It is a historic neighborhood with many hidden garden paths, and can sometimes seem like a maze, so your doggy will get a lot of walk time in, a lot of sunshine, get to sniff some beautiful flowers, and meet some doggy friends if they are dog friendly with others. (Let me know) I like to spend many hours, outside with the doggies. If I see that your dog is hot and tired, I will take them inside to the house to get them some nice relaxation time and give them more space, then take them out later for another hour or so later on in the day. For walks, I like to walk dogs first thing in the morning before they eat, so that they don't get sick after exercise, once around lunch time/afternoon time, and once around 7/8 pm at dusk.
