Life-long dog person. Worked at kennel during college. Licensed wildlife rehabilitator. Volunteered for various dog rescue groups. Has adopted mistreated dogs that need special loving care. I know what it's like to be the crazy dog lady worrying about a special dog with separation anxiety. I can give you as many updates as you like, including pictures. I believe in keeping dogs calm, tired out and spoiled. We have a fence yard for off-leash play and walk a short distance on leash to wooded paths. You'll let me know whether your dog is used to walking on a leash or just running around in the backyard. In hot weather, dogs can wade in water at local park. We have dog beds and a crate, but dogs are welcome to sleep wherever they like. (Ours prefer human beds.) Am totally in love with beagles and all hounds. Baying is fine. Have had shepherd mixes, a cairn terrier, labs and have lots of experience with Catahoula leopard dogs (my last dog was obsessed with them). Dogs have lots of toys and playtime. Will share house with our two dogs, a kid and potentially a foster dog (beagle or basset). Dogs must be housetrained and get along with other dogs and kids. They should be either okay being free-range when I step out or able to get in the crate. Special diets and medicines are no problem. Your dog will be offered many treats and cuddles.
