Two Tag Teaming Pet Whisperers!

Pet care experience

You can depend on US! Know that if we say we will be there, we will! We will be on time, stay the entire time and leave your beloved pet(s) and your home in great shape. How would you like an ex-banker/technology professional (Carson) and a retired teacher (Carol) to take care of your house and pets? Our schedule is very flexible! We have never met a pet that could not be won over! Cats, Dogs, & Donkeys! We have had dogs and cats all of our lives that we cherished and dearly loved. We don't have pets now since we want to be free to travel, but we have a sweet neighborhood kitty, Juliet, who has us on her visiting list! We are both avid hikers and just came back from a month of hiking in Southern Utah and also volunteering at Best Friends Sanctuary in Kanab Utah. Best Friends is the largest no-kill pet rescue in the United States. They house about 1700 animals and rely on donations and volunteers to love and take care of the various animals on their large site in a canyon. It is a magical place! We LOVE to talk about Best Friends so ask us!

Carol and Carson are always so attentive and affectionate to our cat while we’re away. I love the detailed updates and numerous pictures and videos. It’s a much appreciated peace of mind knowing our cat is so well cared for when we’re away. As always, thanks so much and I’ll definitely be rebooking again in the future!

I cannot say anything better about Carol and Carson who watched our dogs for 2 weeks while we were on vacation. We got daily pictures/videos and updates and they responded to our inquiries instantly! They bonded with our dogs and I know our pups felt the love in the absence of having mom and dad at home to spoil them. They always leave our house neat and tidy and I wouldn’t trust anyone but them with our fur children and watching our home. Thank you, C2!

Information Carol & Carson L. would like to know about your pet

We do not have any breed preferences but we prefer to sit for no more than three pets as follows: (1) two dogs with one cat, (2) one dog and two cats or (3) three cats. Any combination of two fur babies (dogs / cats) is generally acceptable. BEFORE SITTING FOR YOUR FUR BABIES :: (1) We think it is best to do a Meet & Greet at your home so all fur babies and humans are in sync. (2) We send you a ROVER designed “Meet & Greet” message; you accept and we come to you at your home at the agreed upon time. (3) When we do the Meet & Greet it should be no more than 30 minutes. (4) To make your fur babies are as stress free as possible, plan to share the following information :: (a) Location of Food(s), instructions on how often to feed, time frames and amounts (any allergies?) (b) How far does your dog walk? (c) How many times per day do they walk? (d) Location of Leash, collar or harness and plastic bags for cleanup when they go #2 (e) Do your fur babies have any favorite toys? (f) Location of brush for your dog’s fur coat. (Cat’s too!) (g) Any other important information concerning your fur babies such as vet, neighbor, or family contacts in case of an emergency. WHEN WE DO A HOUSE SIT WITH YOUR FUR BABIES :: (1) We will stay overnight with your fur baby/babies unless other arrangements are made in advance. (2) All overnights are generally 24 hours from 6am to 6am the following day. Should you decide to have us begin later than 6am for an overnight it will still end at 6am on the following day. (3) Should your fur baby require additional care after 6am on the following day there may be an additional charge. We should discuss before booking. (4) Although the overnight is a 24 hour time period we do not guarantee to be at your home the full 24 hours. We may have errands, workouts and possibly appointments that require our attention. But know that your fur babies will be extremely well cared for by us!

A typical day

We live in Cary and have taken dogs on hikes/walks to Apex Community Park, Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve and other local Cary/Apex venues. We also stay close to your home if that is your dogs routine. As avid hikers we can walk your dog(s) up to 5 miles per day if you request.
