Pet care experience
I have had personal experience with dogs and cats, ducks and foxes, mice and gerbils, even a horse - though I would NOT be comfortable house sitting for a horse! We had animals growing up in Minnesota, and my home has seemed rather empty in the last 10 years without a furry pet in it. I would welcome the opportunity to put your mind to rest knowing that your beloved pets were in good hands when you were away from home.

I have a small fenced back yard, but the development I live in has extensive walking paths. I am close to several extensive city and county parks and regularly take my daughter's small dog to the Frederick dog park off Ballenger Creek.

A typical day
I enjoy walking dogs at the Community Park and at Heritage Park in Walkersville, as well as along the river off Monocacy in Frederick. The dog park at Ballenger Creek is also a favorite place for dogs to run and play with each other and others.

I am currently retired from 30 years of teaching 6 year olds. I have plenty of patience! Time is not a factor - I have lots of it!
