I am the kind of person that litterally is a pet lover in every since of the word. I love dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc. There is not a domestic animal that exist that I don't care about and can actually grow to love as if they were actually human family members!!! I have taken care of a huge (130lbs.) Golden Retriever from age 2yrs. until he passed away from cancer at 9yrs. old, as well as his Great Dane sister who was the same age as he. I slept with the Great Dane and always fought with her for space in the bed whenever I stayed overnight watching them. The Golden Retriever was so huge, he couldn't climb up on the bed so he slept by my side on the floor.
