Pet care experience

Available all the time to care for your female dogs and male or female cats (cats are not mingled with dogs), cats are in a separate space from dogs. Be secure that your furry family members will cared for as if they are my own I am a former breeder, trainer and handler of French and English Bulldogs. I have one neutered male French Bulldog and two female Pembroke Welsh Corgi one is a fluffy. I love dogs and cats. Romeo, Samantha and Elizabeth are friendly, enjoy company. Romeo is not particularly fond of male dogs and this is why I only accept female dogs. As per his name Romeo, he is a lover boy and the more females, the happier he is. We accept fully vaccinated female dogs and select fully vaccinated male and female cats that do not have feline leukemia. I have "checked" the box small dogs with the weight limit of 35 pounds but I accept older and calmer dogs and all doodles. I am height challenged and can be easily knocked over by tall stocky dogs. I have three separate areas in case any dogs have special needs or do not get along with other dogs. I have dog doors to each of these areas and each area can be closed off with custom made dog barriers that are 40 inches tall and made of steel. I have included pictures of the decorative and functional barriers I have custom made for each of the rooms so that dogs that may not get along can be separated into each of these rooms. Each room has a dog door that goes into a separate back yard that is fenced off from each of the other two yards. This creates a safety barrier for any and all dogs that do not get along with one another. This rarely happens, but the option is available in case this should occur. Each room has a mini split unit available in case your dog or cat needs a specific temperature setting, in addition to the full home AC system I have a cat room with a two panel gate to keep dogs away from cats and keep cats from exiting through dog doors. There is a gate to the room where the cats are so the dogs need not peer in at the cats I am not fond of sitting for dogs that need to be crated but understand that puppies need crating in those early months when in the training period and will do this for clients to adhere to a training regimen. I have puppy pens available too I have a metal crates available for large, medium sized dogs and small dogs. Most clients who require crating discuss this option in advance and arrangements are made accordingly. I will wait one hour past drop off time for clients. It is up to clients to contact me if they are to be late. If there is no contact, the boarding stay is considered cancelled without refund. I will try to accommodate late arrivals. If pick ups are not made as planned there may be additional charges. I work from home and am mostly around and about my desk area with dog beds all around me. It is the perfect fit for me to be home most of the time I have multiple fenced in areas in my backyard with three (3) dog doors and separate spaces for those more introverted canines. I have multiple rooms with dog doors and one without a dog door as well as an area that I gate off in my office that has access to the front patio that I keep for special needs dogs and older dogs who need to get out for a relief break in a hurry. I accept dogs from 4 am to 6 pm

My pup had a great time at Carol's. He easily socialized with her dogs and played with them pretty much the whole time he was there. Carol even got him to eat all his food which has been problematic in the past. I highly recommend Carol.

Carol is the best! She took care of my elderly cat while I was on vacation and gave her the love and best possible care I could imagine. She had a pretty room to stay in too! You can tell Carol is an animal lover and I felt very comfortable leaving my cat with her. I will definitely use her services again and recommend her very highly to anyone in need of a cat sitter outside their home.

Carol was a great sitter for our pups! She sent plenty of updates and photos, and our boys were happy as can be afterwards! We will definitely be booking with Carol regularly.

Carol took care of my 2 cats while I had surgery. Carol gave exceptional care to them and was in frequent contact with me to give updates. My cats were provided with interactive toys and a room where they could feel comfortable and safe. I would highly recommend Carol and will utilize services in the future if needed

Information Carol B. would like to know about your pet

A former English and French Bulldog breeder, mom has extensive experience with these breeds. Mom has a leaning towards these breeds but we see that she loves all DOGS, every one of them. We catch her kissing doodles and all the dogs that stay here. Mom tends to sit for smaller breeds because they fit in better with our pack but she will take an older, calmer larger dog as long as at the meet and greets go well and that is up to us. Mom loves short legged dogs, and this could be because she is rather short herself and she does not like to be knocked down, and we don't want her knocked down either, who would feed us? We, Romeo, Elizabeth and Samantha have some questions that mom always forgets to ask: (1) Mom will want to know if you use a dog door, that helps around here, we have a few yards and we like to share them. (2) Mom will want to know if you are a "free feeder" or if you gulp down all of your food when she puts it down because if you are she will have to give you a dedicated space in our home where you can spend some time alone so that we don't eat all of your food while you are not looking. If you are a free feeder and need a special dedicated space there will be an upcharge. There is also an upcharge per night if mom has to administer vaccinations, if you do not get along well with others and need your own personal space or have a special need that requires special space for you. (3) Mom will want to know if you chew furniture or other things and how your humans contain you at home around this social issue. Mom will crate for this reason, and needs to know in advance that you will not bark or be anxious in a crate the time that you are in there. (4) Mom will need to know if you are house trained, and what this means to you and your human. If you are a puppy, house training is easily forgotten and puppies have an upcharge of $5.00 and this is listed as the "puppy rate." Note: If you are being picked up more than four (4) hours than the drop off time on the day that you are being picked up, there is a day care fee for that last day.

A typical day

We are Romeo, Elizabeth and Samantha, we own mom. Most of the time we are in the house playing with toys or out in the yard gardening, sitting in the front yard watching neighbors, greeting other dogs or just watching hummingbirds. Mom works at her desk most of the time and we welcome other dogs into our pack. We spend time look at the cats, that mom often sits. Mom does not like if we bark at the cats We have three dog doors in our home and mom loves it when dogs who come visit with us know how to use them. The cats cannot get out the dog doors, they have a separate room with a big window , lots of toys, scratching posts, tunnels and things we don't understand and mom is very protective of them. Most dogs who come to visit learn how to use the dog doors them from us. They are lots of fun and we play running in and out of them most of the day. We keep the front gate to the patio locked to prevent escapee pups. We prefer that you text or call as you are approaching so that mom can greet you and determine the best way to have you meet us. Mom does not want anyone, human or canine falling on their head and she is very protective of us and any guests we have staying with us. When our house guests come, we anticipate their stay by getting their rooms ready. Some of the guests are very friendly and they play with us all day. At night, some of the guests sleep with us in our bedroom, other guests stay in other rooms in the house. This is up to mom and the other guests' people and the instructions they give to mom. All in all we like our life, we love to meet each of our new guests and we would not like it any other way. We look forward to meeting you!
