- I've worked in boarding/daycare/pet services for almost 10years. - I currently work at a Vet here in Roanoke. My bosses and co-workers would be more than happy to refer me. -I have a letter of recommendation from an old job. -I consider myself over the top. Meaning I notice if a dog/cat isn't feeling well compared to other visits, I take a lot of pictures, and I probably want their attention more than they want mine. My heart is all about stinky breath kisses and cuddles from the babies. -I'm caring, responsible, on time and would treat them like my own. -If your dog/cat has allergies or meds no worries, just let me know. -I prefer the dog(s)/cat(s) and you meet me before any care is needed to make sure you and your baby(babies) are comfortable with me. It's always a great feeling knowing when someone's baby loves who's around them. <3 -I have cared for a bunny before. -I do have a cat. He thinks he's a dog. -My dog is 11 and likes to mostly cuddle and play with toys once in a while. He's a small 12lb rat terrier/chihuahua * I keep a client binder for those outside of Rover that use repeat visits with me as well as a reward program. *I've been in hiatus but I'm back and new location*

Carmen is wonderful! She is experienced, thoughtful and organized. In addition to those qualities, my dog found a new best friend in minutes. He is normally nice to new people I introduce him to, but he was excited about Carmen. I absolutely recommend her.
I am working in Fayetteville, NC and do not know anyone here. I did not want Finley(my dog) to sit in our hotel room all day alone. He is young and wants to run and play all the time. I used Rover and found a day care for Fin. The 1st day care I used provided quality care for Finley, but Carmen exceeded that quality and has set the bar very high for day care providers in the future. Finley loves going to go see Carmen and Miggy(her dog) each day and Carmen always greets him with open arms. Carmen has gone above and beyond for Finley many times, she is flexible (my schedule can change last minute and she has always been willing to adjust the hours to help me, including a last minute boarding needed overnight. She sends pics and videos of Fin playing throughout the day. She has a fenced yard and even got a magnetic screen for Miggy and Finley to go outside at their leisure. The way the house is configured she can see the dogs from all areas including outside, although I know she even goes outside with them. I really appreciate Carmen, her professionalism, the love she provides and generosity towards Finley and myself. Finley has stayed with Carmen everyday for the last 2 weeks and will continue to stay as long as Carmen has the availability and willingness to take care of him. Thank you Carmen for loving Finn as your own and being so kind to me. Rachel

I first always make sure we meet before the dates you need me. I like to make sure you see the person who will be caring for your pet and will be inside your home. During the visit I text you before I get there and typically as soon as I walk in the door to let you know I arrived. Then I take pictures the whole visit and give an update on if they used the bathroom, ate, played with toys or seemed ill.

I would like to know if they're people friendly and dog-friendly. If they have allergies and medications are very important for me to know about. I'd like to know if they have any digging under fence/escape issues at home, do they chew on shoes, etc. It will not deter me from watching your baby(babies). Please know I like to message you when I'm on my way to your house, when I'm there and during/after the visit.
A typical day
-I prefer playing in a yard at the owner's house for drop-ins. (Walking is not an issue) -If they have toys I will try and engage with them. -I take way too many pictures to send to the owner
