Hi! I'm Carmen! Growing up, I loved my grandma's golden retriever, Winnie. After she passed, I always wanted another dog in the house but it never happened. It wasn't until high school where I was able to form a close bond with another dog like Winnie, and this time my friend’s golden retriever. I would take her on walks, go the bay and throw her the tennis ball. Since then, I knew that I could love others furry family members like they were my own. I have been lucky to have taken care of more than a dozen different dogs through the years, mostly pets of family, friends, and their neighbors. I have experience in taking care of dogs of all ages, from 10 weeks old to their last days. So I do know the importance of keeping on track with pupping training, following special diets, ensuring activity levels based on age and ability, as well as administering medicine through pills and syringes. I also have experience in taking care of dogs with a history of seizures. For me, I have loved creating connections with the dogs as I never really had one growing up so I strive to give them the same love and attention they get with their parents. And I can’t wait to get one of my own someday!
