At my pet-friendly home, your furry friend will be lovingly cared for and treated as a member the family! My 2100 sq ft home in Edgemont (NW area in Calgary) has a medium-sized yard that is securely fenced. Located in a cul-de-sac, our home offers minimal traffic and is connected to a lovely off-leash park. Nose Hill Park is only a few minutes drive away. Your best friend will have access to three walks a day, weather permitting (more or less, if needed). Pets will have free reign in my home; but I can certainly kennel or keep them off the bed or furniture, if that is your preference. I am a proud mum of a 6 year old, 23 lbs male cockapoo named Soda. He is playful and curious, but also very easy-going. He has a keen nose for finding socks! A visit to the off leash park isn’t complete unless Soda has greeted every dog and person in the park! :) I typically spend about 30 minutes in the morning and another 30 minutes in the evening at the off-leash park closest to my house. In the afternoons, I spend 1-2 hours at the larger Nose Hill Park. I am around 24/7, but step out for occasional appointments/groceries/yoga classes and such. Because of allergies in the family, I can only look after DOODLE VARIATIONS AND NON-SHEDDING BREEDS. I would also prefer to do a meet-and-greet with guest pups and their parents before accepting a booking request. Even though Soda is only 6 years old, he has a very mellow and relaxed disposition. I would therefore prefer that guest pups are a bit older or have similar temperaments. It is important to me that your dog receive my undivided attention when they stay at my home. Because of this, I will only accept one booking at a time though I will consider boarding additional pups from the same family. All dogs must be spayed or neutered, housetrained and must be up to date on their vaccinations. Let me know if you think I would be a good fit for you and your furry friend.
