I have had dogs as long as I can remember growing up. While in college my husband and I partnered with the Humane Society in a rural area of Eastern North Carolina and fostered puppies/dogs, got them the appropriate vet care and kept them until they were adopted. We adopted our lab mix Dixie while in college, she is now 13 years old, and we have a miniature goldendoodle who is 1. We are an active family and spend much of our weekends outside and our dogs do as well! We have ample experience with dogs from puppyhood to senior care and are very comfortable administering medications, as we have to regularly for our senior dog. I work full time out of our home. I am available for weekend boarding so you can enjoy yourself without having to worry about your furry friends for your short getaways We live on an acre in a small cul-de-sac subdivision. Our neighborhood is super dog friendly! We do not have a fenced in yard but both my husband and i are very active and enjoy taking our dogs (and yours) on multiple walks per day. We also frequently take our kiddos to the park, which has nice walking trails. We have 2 kids, ages 3 and 6 who love dogs! We have 2 dogs of our own, a 12 year old lab mix rescue, and a 6 month old miniature goldendoodle. Both dogs are very friendly with other dogs. Our goldendoodle loves to play, while our lab mix is a little older and will play in short stents.
