Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Carly and I want to thank you for visiting my profile. I believe I am a reliable, responsible, respectful, and accommodating individual. I definitely have the personal experience as I have cared for animals of my own and pet sat for 12+ years for others. As a veterinary assistant, I also have professional experience, and I believe that sets me apart from the rest. I am very outgoing. My mother calls me her social butterfly! I am an animal lover and can understand the stress it puts on the pet when it is with someone new or in a new environment. I meet all of my fur clients prior to the visit, so we all get to know each other before the stay. When it seems overwhelming to leave your fur child for any amount of time, leave it to the trained professionals to take care of them! I work part-time, so I’m only away from home less than 20 hours per week. My babies love to go to the dog park, Audra, and even just to the pet store to pick out a treat. My husband and I found Carly on Rover after researching people in our area. Carly came highly recommended. So we did a meet and greet a couple nights before we went out of town. Once inside Carly’s home, I was immediately at ease. She was very welcoming and had a very pet friendly home. She allowed our 2 boxers on the furniture and they even had their own special space to sleep. While out of town, I received pictures and updates daily. Carly did not seem put out by my daily questions about how the dogs were doing. When we picked them up, the boys were very happy and seemed well taken care of. She followed feeding directions and they played with their toys all day. She even made an adorable Halloween craft with their paw prints! If anyone is looking for an amazing person to leave their dogs with, Carly is it!
She was great with Odie and I feel blessed to have had such a sweet person to watch him. When I am in the area again, I will definitely use her services again!
Carly was great. She is super nice and very helpful. Always keep me updated about how the pup did. She did a great job, highly recommend!
Carly has worked for a veterinarian so she has experience caring for dogs, plus she has several dogs of her own. She has taken excellent care of our cats when we've been out of town. I would highly recommend her for dog and cat sitting.

I do not have any preference or favorite breeds per se. I am willing to work with any, and can accommodate even those that don’t get along with others. If your pet is crate trained, I request you bring it with your pet. If they have a favorite toy or blanket, I also request you bring it. Even if it’s just one of your old shirts, it may really help your pet transition into a new environment; familiarity is key. My own dogs are crate trained, but I also have baby gates to keep pets separated for the safety of your pet and my own. I also request that your pets be flea free and up-to-date on their vaccinations. This helps keep my animals, and any other pets I may have, safe and flea free! Please inform me of any food allergies/sensitivities or special dietary needs, aggression issues, or medications. Once again, please reach out to me with any questions or concerns. A typical day
I love to keep pets entertained and stimulated, but can also relax and chill with the older folks. I love to take the dogs for walks around my neighborhood or play fetch in the yard. I’m within walking distance of a few parks and take my pets often.

Availability
Pet care is a part of my daily life as I work for a veterinarian part time. My availability is fairly open if booked in advance. Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday I’m available all day. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday I’m usually only available in the evening.
