Hi! I'm Carly. I'm an experienced dog-sitter and dog-lover. I've learned lots from raising my own beagle-mix Toby (6 yrs old), and occasionally fostering dogs as well: big and small, young and old, including some with medical needs or recovering from injuries. I'm experienced with aggressive, fearful, and/or over-reactive behaviors in dogs (on-leash while walking, or off-leash indoors), as well as extreme separation anxiety, and rescue dogs still adjusting to their new home life. Here's a list of other things that make my situation unique: - I live with my husband Nick and our dog Toby in a small apartment. We have friends with dogs who visit our home, so ideally your dog is friendly with others. If not -- no worries! We can accommodate that too. - No cats or children at my house so our house is great for dogs who don't do well with one or both. - I work from home, so your dog will spend very little time home alone (if any) while staying with me. - Your dog can have as many bathroom breaks/walks as they need. - I don't have a fenced yard and my own dog is a master escape artist -- so I know all the tricks.
