Pet care experience
I am very personable and love any and all types of dogs! I live with a 4-year-old chocolate lab and I consider him one of my best friends! To me, dogs are amazing animals and should be treated in the best way possible. I have always grown up with dogs in my life whether it be living with a dog or having friends that have dogs, I have always been and always plan to be around dogs. During the day I take work with adolescents providing direct support care to them while they are attending a day treatment program. Recently, I have found that I have a lot of free time and there seems like no better way to spend that free time than with a dog! I would be happy to help you as well as your dog(s) with any needs you may need.

Carly is great with my dog Honey! Honey is my furbaby, so I do not trust a lot of people to watch her. Carly has won me over with how well she takes care of her. She takes her for walks, plays with her and makes sure she eats her full meal. When I come home from my trips my dog is stress free thanks to Carly and not to mention Honey sleeps like she has been playing all day long. Thanks Carly for being such a great pet sitter for Honey!
I highly recommend Carly Houlihan for a dog sitter, she is a lover of all animals especially of dogs of all breeds and ages. She is trustworthy, responsible, loving, caring and kind and will treat your dog as if he/she is her own.

I would prefer to know the breed (out of my own curiosity, not breed discrimination), the gender of the dog and if they are friendly around other dogs. It would also be great to know any quirks the dog may or may not have. For example, my parent's dog loves to be held like a baby and sometimes won't eat unless somebody is in the room with them.
A typical day
I currently take my dog on walks around Lake Winona or through the neighborhoods nearby. We also go hiking up Sugar Loaf as well as through the Holzinger Trails. I always get a kick out of playing with dogs and their toys they have, they are always so excited to play! Cuddles are also an added bonus :)
