I have had the pleasure of working with animals my entire life. Before I focused on switching careers, I worked as an Executive Assistant to the President of a company with a pet-friendly office and one of my main commitments and responsibilities was to take care of his two Bernese Mountain dogs. I have experience with handling both large and small breed dogs. When the business changed hands and the office was no longer pet-friendly, I realized I was not as fulfilled by my work without being in an environment filled with many different types of fur babies! I own a Japanese-Chin/Chihuahua mix named Gus, and a Havanese named Max. I am very excited for the opportunity to work with your pets! Dogs make the world a happier, better place and they deserve all the love I have to offer! Please note, due to Rover fees in which I am bound to pay to use the app’s service, I only actually earn 80% of what you pay. Rover fees take 20% to help us find each other, which when you think about it is a huge chunk of earnings! I’m grateful for the app, but unfortunately have to charge higher prices to make up for the fees. I guarantee you will be satisfied with my service. I require a meet and greet to make sure I am the perfect match for your fur baby before all services! Another note: I am severely allergic to cats, to the point where if their dander touches my skin I break out in hives and my body swells up until my throat closing is a scary possibility. I very recently experienced a very severe reaction from sleeping in a cat bed and it has since traumatized me. So that being said, my sincerest apologies but I will not sleep in your home if you have a cat, I have to protect myself and can not risk having an allergic that severe again. I will still walk your dog, I just can’t spend the night in a cat house.
