My partner and I originally booked Carly to stay at our house for 6 nights while we are out of town. Batman is 5 years old and has never spent a night alone. Until now. In the first 24 hours we were gone, she told me she was staying at the house and walking Batman before bed. Unfortunately for her, I have a smart Lock that informs me every time our door is opened and closed. In reality, Carly came in for 20 minutes that evening, I'm assuming to feed Batman, and then left, re-entering the following morning. We called to ask her about the previous night. She said everything went fine. We then told her about the app, she then tells us she wasn't feeling well and didn't want to sleep in our bed. We terminated the booking immediately during this call. I felt very dissapointed that she didn't think to inform us that she didn't feel comfortable staying, and even more upset that she didn't come clean about it when we asked her about the previous night. I do not think she would have told us if we wouldn't have asked. This is an assumption, but I have a feeling she wasn't planning on staying any of the nights with Batman. She took the job knowing what we wanted. I do not recommend this person if you have a highly stressed dog that you feel requires a decent amount of attention.
