Pet care experience
[As of May 4th, I am fully Vacinated] I grew up in a big family around a bunch of cousins and dogs. I love taking care of dogs and making sure they comfortable at all times. I always make sure that my pet is safe and am dedicated to keeping your best friend (pet) safe as well. I have a heart of gold from looking over young puppies all the way to ten year old dogs. So, I am willing to watch over any young or old soul. Since I am available most weekdays I try my best to work around your schedule and will be sure to follow the requests you have for your pet. I am very attentive and will let you know immediately if I have any questions or concerns.

We used Carlos once before but the second time we felt (and had reasons to believe ) we were being lied to. We have an alarm system that tells us via an app when he would leave or arrive and he would send messages saying he was here when he wasn’t and then we even received a message meant for someone else where he said he was just “sitting watching tv with Chloe”. None of our animals are named Chloe and the photo he sent wasn’t our house. Our thought is he double booked house sitting gigs and was trying to do both at once. Then we saw him lock our front door and go around to come in through the back door for some reason. He also didn’t arm the system when he left like we asked. Our pets were fine and the house was in tact, so I am giving two stars for that instead of zero, but we have lost trust in him due to the dishonesty.
Carlos did an excellent job taking care of our hyperactive and *needy* golden retrievers. He updated us on their care frequently, and we felt that he treated them like family. When we came home, our house was exactly how we left it, in the best way.
Carlos watched our dogs for a week and took great care of them, and our home! Would definitely rebook with Carlos.
I'm profoundly disappointed. I was initially really happy with Carlos after getting frequent updates from him and a good meet-and-greet. However, when I returned home to my dog, I noticed a bunch of poorly cleaned-up fecal stains on my carpets. When I asked if she had any accidents (which she hasn't since potty training years ago) Carlos denied anything had happened. I checked our lobby codes (we live in a condo that captures when people enter and exit) and discovered that though Carlos had agreed to house sit our dog, he had only stopped by for walks and didn't stay the night or for any portion other than to take our dog out and feed her. When asked for a full accounting of how many and where she had accidents, if he had actually stayed the nights, or other concerns, Carlos ghosted me and won't return my texts. I've had years of great experiences on Rover and this is the first time I've dealt with someone who wouldn't tell me the truth about what happened with my dog while in their care. I'm profoundly disappointed.

A typical day
I love to play with dogs all the time. I will make sure they eat, play, and take little naps when they want to. While at home, I personally love playing tug of war with the dogs. I also enjoy taking them out on long walks and on runs to make sure they get some exercise in. I will keep you posted on how your dog is doing and send a couple adorable pictures along the way.
