Pet care experience
I moved to Calgary from Langley, B.C. where I lived on 1.5 acres surrounded by nature. I spent most of my free time playing with my two very friendly dogs, a mini Australian Shepherd and Border Collie. We Would play fetch and go on daily walks to the nearby park. I also had a pet pig who loved to hangout with the dogs. I have been a member of Rover for a while now but I also foster dogs through the Calgary Humane society. I have cared for puppies, seniors, pups with medical issues and behaviour issues. I am proud to say every one of my fosters left healthy, happy and was adopted by a loving family! I love my animals and will treat your furry friend like one of my own for the time it is with me. I have years of experience caring for happy pups so I am sure your pup will be content with me and will leave tired and happy! **For safety reasons, I will never have a foster dog and a Rover dog at the same time. So if my calendar says I am available, I do not currently have a foster dog :) **Ask me about wedding pet safe-keeping. I offer dog boarding before and after your big day! If your wedding is in Calgary I will bring your pet to join you for a portion of your wedding. Once you’ve snapped a few pics I will return them safely to my home, leaving you and your family to enjoy your wedding without worrying about your pet!

Seemed great from reviews. Communication was excellent leading up to the sit. Wasn't really sure how the day went. Very little updates. No idea if they went on a walk or how many. Leo came out needing to pee for a long time. And was eating all the snow as he seemed thirsty. He can get anxious so I am hoping just that.
Carling was very responsive and helped us out in a pinch when we had to leave our dog for the weekend. She answered all of our questions and provided regular updates. Fernie came home tired and happy!

Carling was so great to work with while she was watching our dog, Brooklyn for 12 days! She stayed in touch with photos and updates regularly and was always quick to respond when we reached out. It was so great to have the piece of mind, and it truly felt like she loved our Brookie like she was her own!

I currently live alone with no other pets. If your dog is well-trained and house broken I have no problem letting them roam free in the house. However if they are crate-trained I am happy to use their crate.

A typical day
I live near a quiet dog park and bow river pathway. With permission, I will take dogs to the dog park. If your dog is not friendly with other dogs or has poor recall, I will stick to walking paths and keep your pup on a leash. At home, I will set up a cozy spot for your pup to relax while I work and of course give them lots of pets and playtime!

Availability
I am self-employed and work from home part of the day and with clients throughout the day. I typically wont leave a dog alone for more than 2-3 hours.
