I have been a dog lover my whole life! I'm lucky that my family have 4 dogs, a Border Collie, Canaan, White Swiss Shepherd and a German Shepherd. (Please note none of these dogs live with me!) I have previously looked after my brothers German shepherd for 2 years (every week) as he grew up from puppy to adult and we have formed a solid bond. I can work with reactive dogs or dogs of any temperament. I can also continue to work on training if needs be. Can give plenty of cuddles or be hands off. I am currently taking a course on animal communication. I am very instinctive with animals and know if they need something. I have a very caring nature and dogs really are one of life's greatest gifts! I am a big walker and love taking in nature with a dog buddy along side! I have a flexible working life, working from home 2 days a week, so I can dog sit or walk on those days. I can also dog sit or walk on weekends too. Local to Wokingham but can travel 15 mins out if needs be. I also have experience with parrots and cats, a big animal lover in general so can house sit for other animals too. I'm happy to administer medication or injections if shown how to. I also study Reiki so can even give your pet a Reiki session! I am physically fit and can handle dogs that pull on lead. I also love to take photos so I can take photos of your dog on walks if required!

Carlina was a wonderful cat sitter, and went beyond our expectations :) She is very kind and lovely. She’s always sent us a picture everyday how Alfie was doing, and our cat was really happy to see her every day. We have a fenced garden. If at your own house I would take the dog out for regular wee breaks and feed them. I can also offer basic ongoing training. PLEASE NOTE - BOARDING REQUIREMENTS (for sitting at my house) - Please note - we have a caged parrot, who is used to dogs, however an initial meeting would be required to gauge whether your dog is reactive to him. I won't be able to board dogs at my house who are the following: - Not house trained - Chew furniture or who are destructive - Dig up the garden - Bark a lot - we have attached neighbours so are very conscious of noise - Are reactive to our caged parrot - excessively drool - need to sleep on the bed - we don't allow dogs on the bed - they are allowed in the bedroom if they're generally settled at night. - If your dog is particularly young and demanding of attention please let me know - if it is on a day that I need to work from home this may not work out. I have looked after a few puppies but it depends on their temperament. The above is all just for sitting at my own house. I am able to sit at your house and of course obide by and house rules you may have for me and your pet.

Also would be good to know if your dog has any further requirements. I would be happy to accomodate. If your dog is people reactive due to safety I unfortunately won't be able to work with your dog. I am happy to do overnight bookings, however please note my overnight rate is different to the 8hour day rate that is set on Rover. Please message me to discuss rates further.
A typical day
I will play with the dog with his/her toys, do basic training with him/her. Go on walks with lots of stimulation, either around water or without. Can run with dog or walk. I do like Dinton pastures for walks but anywhere that is suitable for your dog I will go! I am used to going on walks where no other dog owners are around if special requirements are needed.

Availability
I work from home 2 days a week and weekends are free for me. Please bare in mind I am in the office 3 days a week so for long stays I would have to work around this. I take active lunch breaks so will be able to walk your dog.
