Hello! My name is Carli. I have a 5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback named Orion. He's a super gentle giant and loves all dogs & cats! I am a 32 year old, military spouse who loves being active! I have been dog sitting since I was 12 years old. I have experience with dogs & cats of all sizes and needs. We live right by the Mission Trails in Carmel-by-the-Sea, easy walking distance to the trails or the beach, super central to Downtown Carmel as well! We love taking the dogs to the beach to watch the sunset. It truly is doggy heaven here in Carmel by the Sea!! However, I am also willing to drive directly to your fur babies if needed! We always get plenty of fun Carmel excursions catered to each dogs individual needs. I hope you trust me to take care of your furry friend while you are away or at work. ☺️ I love doggy day care or boarding the most - the dogs get so much more love and playtime! But walks or stop-bys are also part of my services... I can also house-sit if needed!

Carli is incredible. Simply put: hire her - you won’t regret it. She was very communicative, responsive, and flexible in meeting us for a meet and greet before taking care of two dogs. She is very warm and conscientious when it came time to check in on them, and went above and beyond in caring for our little ones. She even balanced all of this while taking care of her baby girl. Carli was the best. I have a senior dog and a young dog so the energy and care levels are very different. Carli had no problem tending to any specialized needs of my senior pup. I received photos and texts that totally made me know my dogs were being cared for with love. And Carli was very flexible with some scheduling changes that occurred. I highly recommend Carli's day care service, plus bonus points if you get to meet her wonderful family!
It was easy to schedule with Carli and she was very accommodating! She sent us updates with pictures. Our little girl Ellie had a great time and Carli’s dog Orion was super chill! Carli is a dog lover and understands dogs very well. I highly recommend her!!

I'm always happy to do a meet & greet - you can come see my house, meet my dog, etc. We have a fenced in yard in a quiet neighborhood. The dogs are welcome to go inside and outside as they please throughout the day. I always check-in with the owner and send daily photos (or more if you'd like!) of everything pet that I’m taking care of.

I truly love all animals, breeds and mixes. I do however, require our dogs to meet before committing to a stay in our house - I do not accept bookings without first meeting.
A typical day
We typically do about three - 45 min to hour walks each day and lots of outdoor play time or cuddles (depending on the dog) in between. We strive to go on many different trails or beaches throughout each week.

Availability
I am now a stay-at-home-mama to a little girl (currently 2.5 months) so we are home or on walks all day. My dog Orion, daughter and I typically start each day off with a trip to the dog beach or a hike. Then we hang out at the house for a few hours, do another walk around lunch and finish the day with a 3rd walk around the afternoon/dinner time. I make sure all dogs get the same care that I would want my pup to have when he needs caretaking. I have plenty of time to share with your loved one - through walks, play, and/or training.
