I'm a certified peer support specialist, musician, actor, and artisan from Akron, Ohio. My favorite person in the whole world was my fur baby, Nibbler, a small mutt that I had for about 11 years up until 30SEP2021... She was a rescue so I am very good at learning to accommodate dogs with special needs. (Sadly her age caught up to her and she had to cross the rainbow bridge) I currently have a Jack Russell mix named Greta and we are fostering a Chihuahua named Crackers. They are my world. My experience with dogs goes further than having my own; I have been a bather at a pet salon and I still work with dogs- I wouldn't trade it for anything else! If you need basic grooming services (such as nails), I can do those as well and I offer a lower rate when bundled with house sitting (see my rates) so don't forget to ask if you'd like to learn more about that! The rates I have listed are for a full groom (bath, brush, nails) so if you just want individual services (such as nails only) feel free to ask. I love dogs more than I can express and love seeing them happy because I'm a compassionate person and I love to exercise so I am always happy to take your pup for a walk whether it is a brisk hike or a short stroll! Your pup is always safe and entertained with me. Dogs love me because they are good at detecting the people who love them. :) Always message to check availability. When house sitting, I can be at your home for 20 hours a day. Let me know what your needs are and we'll make it happen but generally, I try not to leave for more than 1-2 hours at a time, for no more than 4-5 hours *total* per day. I am with your pets the entire night. I prefer not to do boarding in my home at this time. Since Rover doesn't allow an option to compensate for travel and we can only advertise and book on Rover, I've had to increase my prices for drop-ins and walks. It's unfortunate that I have to do this, but it is never worth $9 an hour (after Rover's fees, taxes, etc) to put the amount of wear on my car that is usually my required to accommodate drop-in visits. My apologies for the inconvenience.
