Pet care experience
I am an occupational therapist who landed in Tennessee after contracts in Oregon and Washington states! I’ve taken care of pets my entire life and even looked after a lone chicken and administered a twice daily inhaler to a cat on the West Coast. My time is currently divided between as-needed therapy shifts and caring for my infant son. My family came to East Nashville to settle in and stay awhile! I look forward to building a lasting, supportive relationship with you and your pet!

Carley is beyond amazing! This was the first time I left my dog with a sitter so I did not know what to expect. Carley exceeded all expectations. She is an excellent communicator, sent me tons of updates with photos and took my dog on fun adventures with her and her family. Carley insured that my dog Osa had plenty of love while I was away. I really appreciated the care and attention to detail that Carley provided. Osa can't wait until I leave again! Thank you Carley!
Wow, Carley is the real deal. She takes impeccable care of my fur baby, Luna. And to take care me, she writes detailed stories of her and Luna's adventures together and takes a bunch of great photos to show their activities. She leaves my home just as she found it and Carley is just a really special person with so much love to give. She's an amazing communicator and cares deeply. I couldn't ask for more!
We only were gone for an overnight trip, but needed a sitter for our dog and our older cat who needs medication. Carley was wonderful: flexible with scheduling, courteous, and very sweet with our pets. She sent regular updates and left the house looking like nobody had been there. Will definitely rebook when we need a sitter again.
Carley is excellent with dogs! My dog definitely gravitates to her. She is caring and very dedicated. She will not let you down. Her level of professionalism is rare and I am very happy to have found her.

A typical day
Whether your pet is a dog, cat, or something else, I assure you that I value their life and see them as an intelligent being worthy of attention and stimulation. The thought of leaving my cat or dog alone for an extended time with someone who is only doing the bare minimum breaks my heart. We will do all their favorite things! Feel free to leave a list or send suggestions throughout the duration of our arrangement.

Availability
I offer total transparency at every visit including photos, arrival/departure time, and length of walks (as documented by photos of my Apple watch). I will only accept opportunities when I can assure the highest level of care for the requested dates/needs (trust me—I’ve been shorted by caregivers when away from our pets and understand it can totally spoil your time!).
