My name is Carley. I am 28 years old. I lived in Tahoe city and have just moved to Truckee. I've grown up with animals around the house my whole life. I enjoy their presence and figure dog sitting would be the perfect opportunity. I have always had cats and dogs growing up. Now that I don't live with them anymore, I miss them a lot. I would love to take care of your pup or kitten! I am up for mostly anything. Whether it being dog sitting at your house, dog walking, or simply picking your pup up and dropping them off for you! I specialize in hikes and overnights, but quick walks and short visits at the house are always welcomed! I'm always willing to take special requests in regards to care, food, crates, or medicine!

Does this person even exist? I don’t know! We spoke and agreed on a time, I booked her, and then when I arrived at her house to drop off my pup, she wasn’t there. I called, I texted, and I knocked- no one answered and all the lights were off. I would hope this was an accident or there was an emergency, but it’s been 24 hours and still no response or apology for wasting my time.
Carley was incredible with our Bailey! She made sure to keep her active & let us know how she was doing. We’ll definitely use her to sit Bailey again:)
Carley was so responsive and responsible with Orion. I was impressed and will definitely ask her to help again.
We needed a dog Walker with one day notice and Carly responded within the hour! She came over to our house when I asked her to. Fed our pup lunch, walked her and played a bit with her! She sent a picture on their walk.. I will use her again!! Chris & Dan

When dropping in for a visit with you pet, I will always check with you to see if there are any special instructions. I always keep dogs on leash outside, unless we are in my fenced in backyard. Dogs have plenty of room to hang out in the backyard or they can relax inside. I do overnights and pet sitting for both cats and dogs!

The most important thing for me is that your pet is safe and taken care of properly. I will always make sure that I am aware of any special care or specific instructions before taking care of your pet! I am always by my phone and will gladly update you with photos and texts along the way!
A typical day
I am a very active person, so long walks or hikes are a normal activity for me. If your dog prefers short walks, we can do those too! I have a large car and can easily bring your pet to play at the park, bring them to a fun hike, or even adventure to the beach!

Availability
I am available daily for drop-ins and walks. Overnight sitting is easily accommodated, most nights, as long as it is planned at least a day or two in advance!
