I’m Carlene and I love animals! The fact that I can meet animals who become lifelong friends through Rover is incredible! I once needed some fast dog sitting and stumbled upon Rover and was immediately impressed. I received wonderful care for my two pups and would love to help families when they need care. I believe that every animal in the world deserves love and affection and it’s my goal to give it to as many as possible. Growing up, my family raised Yorkies and Belgian Malinois. I now have a boxer mutt and a Husky/German Shepherd. I have also cared for senior dogs and puppies as young as three weeks old. Additionally, I am experienced in the care of sick dogs and feel comfortable attending to the needs of dogs with medical issues. I can give care around the clock and am comfortable with basic command training. Both my dogs came from less than healthy circumstances so I’ve been committed to volunteering at local animal shelters and humane societies and even found my current pups in a rescue mission shelter. I am easy going and love to have a great time. I can adapt to any dog's behaviors, from the most energetic to the most relaxed. I also will provide excellent customer service by sending owners daily text, photo, and video updates of their pups having fun in my care. Overall I will treat them like my own, and we will have a blast! When I’m not pet sitting, I like to take Prince and Sam on adventures. Whether that is hikes or trips to our favorite soda shot to get some puppy loves (whipped cream topped with dog biscuits, yum) we love it all! I also adore baking and enjoy spending time with my family playing games and watching movies! While I am a major outdoors enthusiast and love working out, I am a complete foodie and am crazy about trying new dessert recipes! I live in the horizon pointe neighborhood and it’s amazing! It’s quiet and open so we can go on uninterrupted walks and play around! Your dog will love that there is barely any traffic and plenty of green grass to lay around in. All the open area we have to roam and explore is perfect for a pup! My family lives in a wonderful two-story home. Along with me, your pup will be staying in our home with my husband and two kids. We also have two dogs, Prince and Sam, who love meeting new friends. They are always happy to open up their home to new puppy friends! Our home has lots of room to run and play and is mostly carpeted, providing the best amount of traction in case your pup gets the zoomies and needs to sprint around. We also have fenced-in backyard with ample amounts of shade.
