Whenever I pet sit for someone new (an acquaintance or friend/family), I quickly become their preferred pet sitter because I follow all schedules and directions that the owners request. I also send updates regularly and am easy to contact while you are away. I want to give your pets the best experience they can have outside of the ones with you. My husband and I travel stress free knowing that Carlee is looking after our two cats. She keeps in touch by text, often sending videos of her feeding and playing with our two kitties. Our cats have required special care at times and Carlee has handled this with ease, following my written instructions to the tee. Honestly, when we get home our cats seem barely to have missed us. She also brings in the mail and waters the plants. Carlee has mothered her own cats, dogs, birds, and fish and volunteered and fostered for the Humane Society. I really can't recommend her enough. I am a meticulous litter box scooper, as I have 5 litterboxes in my own home that get scooped daily, so I know how important that is. I always leave your home exactly as you left it and value your privacy - I won't go into parts of the house or property that you don't give specific authorization to go into.

If your dog or dogs have special needs, I would like to know that ahead of time. If the dog is anxious or is fear-aggressive, that is also important knowledge. Also, any dietary restrictions are good to know.
A typical day
What a typical day looks like depends largely on the dog(s) that I am taking care of and their individual needs. Walks, jogs and fenced in yard playtime are all possible as well as snuggles and belly rubs.

Availability
I have a steady work schedule, which means I know when I will be available with very little variation. I am used to visiting pets before work in the morning and at night before bed. The only times I am not available to visit is on workdays at lunch. (For now, that is.)
