Vadim and I live in Playa Vista with our 5 year old pug mix daughter, Zoya, and 2 year old hound mix, Kiwi. We love going to the dog beach and hiking on weekends. Zoya and Kiwi both love other dogs and go to the dog park to see their friends every day. We live in a neighborhood where there are plenty of outdoor dog friendly areas to hang out. Zoya and Kiwi have dog beds but they both sleep in our bed. Your dog is welcome to join the cuddle puddle if he/she chooses. We are definitely crazy dog people and your dog will be treated like one of our own!

Carla and Vadim take their responsibility as dog parents very seriously. I have seen them revolve most of their decision making around their dog Zoya, who is not only adorable but also spoiled with love and affection. They take special care that she is happy, comfortable, walked and fed. They instinctually understand her needs. They both truly love animals and I know they will take care of any pup they get the chance to hang out with!
Carla and Vadim are sincerely dedicated to their canine companions. They treat their pup and guest pups as one of the family! They enjoy outdoor activities, such as hiking, surfing, and of course spending hours at dog beach with Zoya (their pup). They hired a dog walking service back east when they couldn’t walk Zoya during the day while at work. They screened many services, and hired an exceptional company, that turned walks into play dates for Zoya with her pals at the dog park!! By the way, their pup is a rescue from Dogs In Harmony, check them out on Facebook. I wouldn’t mind being one of their dogs in my next life!
Carla and Vadim were lovely, they welcomed Edie with open arms! Our pups got along famously, playing for hours, and they kept her happy and safe. I will definitely book them again!
Carla is the biggest dog person i know. Not like a person who likes dogs, but actually like a labrador in human form. In all seriousness, she is very caring and attentive and would make a great dog sitter. Dogs are her life and i am sure if she could, she would buy a giant farm and take in all the dogs she could. Shes pretty cool like that, just sayin’.

We live in an apartment building so we don’t have a backyard unfortunately, but we do let the dogs lay out on the balcony in the sun where they can also watch the other dogs go by. The balcony has a very high railing and we are on the 4th floor. If you think your dog would try to jump off the 4th floor balcony then this probably isn’t the right place for them. They are allowed full roam of the house and can go on all the furniture. It’s a very safe and secure home for dogs.

A typical day
Every morning we take the dogs on a 30 min walk around the neighborhood. Then we come home and the girls have their breakfast and then they either play with their toys or go out on the balcony to sun bathe. During lunchtime we either go on a long walk or to the dog park (sometimes no one is there at this hour so we don’t go but we always pass by to check). The girls usually come back and go sunbathe on the balcony and watch the other dogs/squirrels go by some more in the afternoon. Then around 5pm we go to the dog park for 90 min when all the neighborhood dogs are there. They have tons of friends and love to play chase and play ball. Then we come home and have dinner and relax on the couch. Kiwi usually still wants to play in the house so we’ll play some more. Then around 9-10pm we go on one last lap around the neighborhood before heading to bed.

Availability
Vadim and I both work from home and our schedule revolves around the dogs. During the week we have a very strict routine. On the weekends we love to visit the Huntington Dog beach where the girls love to frolic in the water and play ball. We will not let your dog off leash unless you sign off on it and we know we can trust your dog. We would test out if they listen to us in the dog park environment first.
