Pet care experience
Noah is my first dog. I adopted him in June 2020 and I’ve learned so much about him, dogs and myself. I’ve learned that dogs mirror your energy, and this is very important when dealing with new dogs. Now I can approach and deal with any dog with confidence. I’ve learned to be patient with dogs that are still learning but also that they are so smart and can do anything! With Noah, I’ve learned behavioral and obedience training. Before Noah, my experience with dogs was when I lived with my brother and his anxious beagle and with my best friend who had a high energy pup. I cared for them as well and they set me up to me the best dog mama! I look forward to caring for your dog the same way.

Macie, our 12 year old beagle-rat terrier loves staying with Carla! Macie is a cuddler and Carla couldn’t have been more caring. It’s such a relief when I go out of town for work and see that my puppy isn’t looking at me with sad eyes when I drop her off with Carla. I highly recommend leaving your paw baby with Carla!
Carla was so wonderful with Rosie. I was on break and actually watched on camera how loving and patient she was. Our dog is a Covid puppy and is very shy. She took her time and was really sweet with her. Her communications were prompt and detailed. Would definitely book again!
Carla is one of the most responsible dog owners I know. We spend so much time together and no matter what we’re doing, she’s going to make sure that her dog is walked and fed and that we spend time with him. She puts her dog’s needs first in all situations, even while traveling. Highly recommend Carla!
Carla is a true animal lover, making her an excellent pet caregiver! She was extremely thoughtful when creating rituals and routines for her own well-behaved pup, keeping in mind his individual needs and background. She'll do the same when caring for other pets. Because your dog will be sharing a home with my pup Noah, we’ll always schedule a meet and greet for boarding. Please let me know if there are any concerns.
A typical day
I will always adjust to what is needed for each pet. Things that I do with my dog at home that your pup can enjoy include treat puzzle games and other tricks to find treats around the house. Outdoors, I try to incorporate trails, explore new parks (on leash), and visit Fido Park on the weekend. With Noah, your pup will go accompanied to three walks per day (will adjust as needed).

Availability
My calendar reflects the days I am working from home, Mondays, Fridays and weekends. On these days, I can be available to provide the most intentional care for your pup. With my dog, we go on 3 walks per day. On a nice weekday evening, we’ll either do a trail or squeeze a dog park visit. And we’ll always schedule a trip to Fido Field on a Sunday morning. I don’t have a yard but my complex has its own doggy park, so your pup will have access to run if that’s what you’re looking for.
