Bodhi was so happy when I got home. He was calm and had clearly been in good hands while I was away. Carla is awesome!

Highly Compassionate & Experienced

My doggie soulmate, Pig, came from a West Virginia shelter and a year in foster care. It was love at first sight when she came to me: a rescued Brindle Pit mix with a cropped tail and ears. Through her, I learned about how to love and how to receive love; she had developed fear-based aggression before we found each other, and I worked with her to overcome those behaviors. What Carla would like to know about your dog

I love working with dogs of all sizes and breeds. “Bully” breeds are particularly welcome, because I know that they can be misunderstood and are frequently discriminated against.

At our meet-and-greet, these are the kinds of questions I may ask:
Are there any medical or physical issues/ailments I need to be aware of?
Any food allergies? When and how often do you like to give him treats? On walks, does he pick up food/trash?
Does she try to eat/roll in poo at all? Where does she typically like to do her "business?"
Are there any behaviors, habits, or commands you'd like me to work on while walking him? What commands does she know, and which might need practice?
Are there any particular routes or houses we should avoid? Why?
Does she have any "triggers?" What do you do if she has a fearful reaction to something or someone?
What is your post-walk routine like?
