I grew up with a dog and several cats. They were not my pets, they were my family members. As an adult, I continued to have cats as part of my family and have cared for them all their lives, administering I/V's and medications when they were ill, as well as knowing how to maintain their health through their senior years, as evidenced by their long and happy lives - most living to their upper teens. I've had the pleasure of walking and caring for dogs as well and make sure they are safe and enjoy their walks. Many of my friends have relied on me for care and advice for their animals, too.

Words cannot convey my gratitude for the care and attention Carla showed me and my dog Lila when she house & puppy sat the week I vacationed in Cancun with my mother. I got daily updates and pictures, and had complete confidence in my dog's safety, comfort, and happiness. Carla took wonderful care of my young puppy. The fact that my not-yet-house-trained puppy had no accidents while I was away meant that Carla must have walked her and let her out a ton. She also accommodated my puppy’s crazy hours - a late night walk and a 5 am walk. I came home to a clearly happy and well cared for puppy. Carla also sent photos, let me know how things were going, and kept in excellent contact, so I had zero stress about being gone. She is a pro and a delight!
Carla was an amazing sitter for my two pooches when we recently went away for two weeks on our honeymoon. I had no concerns at all and could relax knowing they were in such good hands. Carla made sure she understood our dogs and our home's unique needs and she even dealt with some unexpected situations with thoughtful care. When we returned she gave me a full report. Carla's a diamond!
Carla is great! Super thoughtful, conscientious and considerate, especially in our house and with our quirky dog. She's responsive and kept us informed while we were away, and we're looking forward to her staying with our dog in our home while we are away for a longer period of time, and we know he will be in good hands! I am extremely careful about keeping them indoors and not letting them door-dart, especially cats. When I walk dogs, I am not on my phone or distracted, but rather aware of the surroundings to make sure there are no other animals or people that could endanger your pet. I treat your pet family members as if they are my own.

Availability
I've got a schedule right now that allows me to pet sit or walk your doggy at the hours you need. I'm pretty flexible and am available with short notice. I can stay (or stop by frequently, if you prefer) at your home for cat or dog sitting so your baby does not have to be boarded and will still feel safe and cared for while you are gone. I like to send frequent photos and messages of how they are doing so you are updated and know they are happy so you can enjoy your own vacation or time away from home.
