First time Carla cared for our puppy. She arrived promptly and Ona was excited to be with her. When dinner seemed to be running later I asked if she could stay a little longer which she happily agreed to. We will be happy to have Carla come back.

I am very unhappy with my experience with Carla. I have used rover for years with great success. But this experience was bad. First off she was booked to arrive at 5pm. I said she could arrive as late as 6-630pm and I could still catch my flight. She didn’t show up until 730pm. I had met Carla once before on a meet and greet. Otherwise I would’ve had to cancel my trip. Because of her tardiness I did not get a chance to show her how my house worked or how to take care of my dog. My dog has long fur and it matted because she didn’t brush her. I left the brushes out on the table. I had to take her to a groomer. I’m assuming she didn’t brush her teeth as well. As the brushes were not moved. There was a lack of communication from what I’m used to during the stay. I got 2 pictures in 6 days. I did not feel comfortable. I was worried. When I got home I was 2.5 hours early. Carla had already left. And left my house open. Because she was late I did not get to explain to her that our left kitchen sink has a leak. She informed me that she had flooded the house. A dog toy 20 feet from the sink was wet. It was a big flood. She cleaned the water but not under the sink. Which I had to clean. It had rice chicken and vegetables pieces all over it. Instead of meeting me and doing a pass off she was gone hours earlier than I booked her for. And I found large dog turds in my driveway she didn’t bother to pick up. My dog is 5 lbs. her turds are small. These were from a much larger dog. I know she has larger dogs. I was not aware they would be on my property. My dog does not get along with other animals. Not to mention I should not have to pick up her dogs turds! All in all this was not a good experience. I chose her because she had such great feedback ratings. But this was a bad experience. I don’t feel my animal got the care she deserved. And I was not feeling comfortable the whole time I was gone which is what a pet sitter should do! I booked her cuz she had such great feedback but she’s the worst person I’ve ever used off river.
