Pet care experience
I grew up with multiple dogs. I don't currently have any pets, but my roommate has a dog and a cat. I'm a student at U of M and I like walking dogs as a way to break from school.

Carl took great care of our dog Rosie when we went out of town. Rosie can be a handful with new people, but Carl seemed to handle her just fine.
Carl did an excellent job caring for my two large, very active young dogs for eleven days, at my house. My dogs can be a handful (quite a lot of barking, jumping, and rough play) so I was a bit concerned, but Carl seemed unphased by them. Carl isn't one to engage in a lot of chatting about his experience, but he responded quickly to my inquiries about the dogs when I was away and responded as well if I had a request related to the house (eg, to water some potted plants). I was very pleased by how the dogs were cared for and would hire Carl again.
Carl was wonderful with our pup - reliable, communicative, and our pup seemed to love him. We had never left our pup with a sitter before, so we were very nervous initially, but Carl asked us all of the right questions and even took photos of our pup while we were gone, so we felt confident in leaving him with Carl. He took great care of our pup, with many walks during the day. Would definitely recommend!
Carl has been house sitting for us for the past few years. He's very responsible and he has handyman experience so I'm very comfortable with him looking after our house. He's great with our golden retriever (5 years old) and he's very good at following all of our instructions.

I typically take dogs for walks around the area. I prefer to stay near the home so I don't have to transport dogs in my car. Please let me know if there is a park nearby which you prefer to bring your dog to.

As a student, my schedule on weekdays is fairly flexible since my classes don't take more than a few hour each day and I can do school work anywhere with WiFi. I'm free on weekends.
