Carl lived with me in my home for awhile. He had a Schnauzer named Romeo. He was definitely devoted to his dog. His veterinarian he worked with was impressed with his devotions. On the death of Romeo one veterinarian suggested that he provide a home for another animal as there are many animals who need homes. He had Romeo put to sleep with the utmost reluctance. He could not bear to see him suffer any more. This was an emotionally difficult experience for him. While living with me he learned to love cats. He will love them the rest of his life. He bonded with Murphy my cat. He once even helped me rescue Murphy from a raccoon trap. Carl even became concerned with the welfare of neighborhood pets. To whom it may concern: I met Carl when his Schnauzer Romeo had problems with bladder stones years ago. I was his veterinarian. Carl has since moved away, and Romeo has passed on, but Carl’s connection with and care for Romeo was remarkable. It was, and is, obvious that when Carl says Romeo was a family member it was more than lip service. I have no reservations recommending him for work in any pet care service in line with his training, including general pet care, boarding and daycare.
