Pet care experience
I started training dogs since I was in junior high. My first dog, a black lab later become a therapy dog. After going to school for Animal Science at KSU, and earning a certificate of Applied Animal Behavior through the University of Washington, I became a dog trainer at MuttSchool. I now train other people's dogs and assist with all personalities from friendly puppies to scared or shy dogs and big barky boys. I love going on walks, even if they are quite the pullers!

Carissa has loved dogs since she was a kid, she grew up on a farm with multiple dogs and as her senior project for high school trained her black lab to become a therapy dog. She then went to Kansas State University and graduated with an animal science degree. Towards the end of her college days she started volunteering at the local mutt school to help train dogs. This eventually turned into her job on the weekdays and continues to train dogs as well as her own dog. She is a great dog lover and takes great care of her own dog that responds well to direction from her. She is great at extending her love and care taking of other dogs that she is responsible for whether it is for an hour, or for weeks at a time. You will not be disappointed with Carissa's determination, love and care for your dog/dogs!

I love to make sure your dog has everything it needs to be a dog: excercise, mental stimulation, lots of sniffs and a lot of attention. I like to practice good manners such as waiting at doors, sitting for pets and playing fetch.

I typically work in the middle of day( 9 to 3ish) so I can spend the evening and the early morning with your furry biscuit. I try to be as flexible as needed for your schedule and take the extra step to help your pet feel more comfortable.
