Pet care experience
I have a 2 story, 5 bedroom house with a fenced backyard and live near miles of walking trails and parks, so your dog will have plenty of space to run around. My 2 sons(ages 12 & 15)and I will be caring for your dog together, with me monitoring potty and meal schedules of course. We work or go to school fulltime, but are in the house most of the time. Your dog will be showered in love and played with thoroughly. I used to own Border Collies and my husband owned German shepards in the past. I am a loving mom of a 3 year old Lab Pit mix and a 8month old 95lbs Bernese Mountain Dane mix. I have walked, fed, bathed, brushed, taken potty, cleaned up after, played with, medicated, rehabed, transported, and snuggled with dogs. My sons strongly dislike the idea of neutering our dog, so we sit mostly female dogs. Our dogs are always willing to share their family with the ladies. Your dog is invited to visit with us, and we are eager to meet her! We have not sat another male dog since the addition of the puppy and although it may not be an issue, there is a protective dynamic that leaves me cautious without a lengthy introduction to another male dog.
Reviews
Carissa and her family did a wonderful job caring for our husky mix, Tango. Our dog and Sarge got along great from the first meeting and really seemed like they had a lot of fun the few days they were together. We would definitely recommend Carissa as a sitter! Thank you again Carissa!!
Carissa has a great big heart and her family will shower your pet with affection. She is a dog owner and loves her pet dearly. She is very conscientious and never does anything half-heartedly, so your beloved pet will get the best care, companionship, love, exercise and attention, or whatever else it needs. Go ahead and contact Carissa for your doggie care needs. You won’t be disappointed.

When your dog stays with us, they are part of the family. We make sure they are comfortable and I take care of them as my own babies. I allow dogs on my furniture and am usually sleeping with at least one. If there is a medical concern I will address it promptly and notify you as soon as appropriate, to include you in non emergency decisions as necessary.

Information Carissa C. would like to know about your pet
I don't have any bread preferences, but your dog can't be afraid of my large dogs. All dogs I care for must be kid friendly! I would like to know the following about your dog before their stay. Does your dog have any medical issues, allergies, or dietary restrictions I should be aware of? Is your dog spayed or nuetered? Does your dog have any of these habits: being an escape artist who breaks or jumps fences, humping legs, going potty somewhere other than outside, jumping on people, stealing food off tables/counters, chewing up belongings that are not dog toys? I can work with this, but need a heads up! What types of tricks, and games does your dog know? Does your dog ride well in a car? Does it have any separation issues? Is there anything that scares your dog? (Mine doesn't care about fireworks, but is terrified by laundry baskets.)
A typical day
During your dog's stay with us, we will go for daily walks on the trails around Tualatin High and/or Ibach Park. Your dog can play fetch, or just sniff everything in the backyard. Our days always have lots of pets and snuggles with the occasional wrestling match.

Availability
I am currently working from home with breaks every couple hours to facilitate potty time and I hang out with the pups during lunch. We are available most weekends Friday-Sundays and for quiet, chill dogs I could watch them during the week. My dogs are an excellent alarm system for visitors/intruders and package deliveries, but otherwise they're not noisy and that's important for my work.
