I absolutely love dogs, any size, any breed. I am home every day of the week as this is my primary job and passion. I will care for your dog as they were one of my own. We have a very welcoming and loving family & home that will give you peace of mind that your dog is being cared for like a family member. Taking walks, playing in the backyard, engaging with and socializing your baby while you are away is my goal. We currently have 4 dogs of our own, 3 of the 4 are energetic, loving and get along well with other dogs. They are overly excited at first to meet other dogs but that seems to last about 5-10 mins then they calm down. Our 4th dog is a senior dog who is blind so he really just relaxes all day, he loves to sunbathe and nap! Hope to hear from you and I look forward to meeting you and your pup!

Carissa is the absolute best. She is friendly, responsive, genuinely loves dogs, her home and yard are beautiful, safe and comfortable and there is no doubt that our dog feels like part of the family when he is there. I often wonder if he even wants to leave! I am so grateful to have found her. I never worry for a second when Hobbes is with her!
Carissa and her family are amazing. Our pup will be staying with her every time we have to leave town, no exceptions. This is our first time ever letting our dog stay with a sitter. We usually use dog “hotels” and other boarding services. Our pup had a great stay. He’s back with us no, happy and healthy. She trained with him, gave him his meds, and made sure he was having a good time. Her fenced in backyard is huge which is a great plus, so plenty of room to run and burn off energy. All of her dogs are very well socialized so we had no concerns about our pup and his playmates while he stayed there. We wholeheartedly recommend Carissa as someone to trust with caring for our furry family member. Thanks again Carissa.

A typical day
Normal day here (depending on daycare or boarding); wake the dogs up and feed them followed by potty/playtime outdoors. Morning rest time in doors, either in crate or back room. Afternoon outdoor playtime and/or walk around the neighborhood. If it’s raining we have plenty of indoor games and puzzles for stimulation. Dinner time, everyone is fed separately then gets outdoor play, potty time and/or walk. For those boarding one last potty break right before bedtime.

Availability
This is my full time job and I am available during most holidays but they do book up quickly so book ahead of time! When we need to leave the house we normally aren’t away for more than 4-5 hrs when I have a client dog at the house.
